Of all the attractions located in Southern California, there's only one that earns the right to be called "the happiest place on earth". The Walt Disneyland Park is California's #1 tourist attraction, enticing travelers with first-class theme parks and unbelievable live entertainment. From world-class accommodations to gourmet restaurants, the Walt Disneyland Park has everything you need to embark on one magical vacation. More than 515 million travelers have visited this international vacation destination since opening day in 1955 including royalty, presidents and heads of state. From mouse ears to magical castles, there's no other place quite like the Walt Disneyland Park. After more than 50 years in operation the park continues to be a source of joy for families around the world, so don't miss your chance to join in the fun. Plan to visit the Walt Disneyland Park during your upcoming Johnny Parks LAX Airport Parking vacation.

One Man, One Mouse, and One Amazing Theme Park

The Walt Disneyland Park is subdivided into a number of different realms. The park itself covers approximately 85 acres and is centered on Sleeping Beauty's Castle. There are four distinct areas in the park aside from the Main Street U.S.A. entrance. These include Adventureland, Frontierland, Fantasyland and Tomorrowland. Three other areas have been added during the parks 50 year history, including Critter Country, Mickey's Toontown and New Orleans Square. Each realm is completely separated from one another, creating a secluded atmosphere. Customers of Johnny Parks LAX Airport Parking are encouraged to visit the following attractions in each realm:

  • Main Street, U.S.A. - This section of the park is based on Walt Disney's hometown of Marceline, Missouri. It is the only realm at Disney devoid of rides. Instead it features a number of shops and restaurants.
  • Adventureland - This section of the park is based on a tropical faraway land. Attractions include the "Temple of the Forbidden Eye" from the Indiana Jones trilogy, the Jungle Cruise, Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room and the "Tarzan Treehouse".
  • Frontierland - Customers of Johnny Parks LAX Airport Parking are invited to venture back to the untamed west with the help of Disney's model pioneer village. Frontierland is home to a number of attractions include a group of animatronic Native Indians. Rides include the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Fantasmic! And the Mark Twain Riverboat.
  • Fantasyland - If you've ever dreamed of flying with Peter Pan or having tea with Alice in Wonderland, Fantasyland is the place for you. Classic Disney stories come to life in this realm as children immerse themselves in the magic of make-believe. Must-see Fantasyland attractions include several dark rides and the King Arthur Carrousel.
  • Tomorrowland - A real-life rocket scientist helped design this section of Walt Disneyland, providing visitors with a realistic look at space travel. Since then the area has been renovated and refurbished twice. It now boasts a retro-future theme reminiscent of Jules Verne illustrations. Customers of Johnny Parks LAX Airport Parking won't want to miss riding Space Mountain or taking the Star Tour.
  • New Orleans Square - Opened in 1966, this section of park represents New Orleans during the heydays of the 18th and 19th centuries. Two of the parks most beloved attractions are located here: The Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean.
  • Critter Country: Famous Disney animal characters rule this realm at Walt Disneyland, providing visitors with plenty of fun photo opportunities. Today, the main draw of the area is the flume ride Splash Mountain. Kids will also love the ride The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
  • Mickey's Toontown: Opened in 1993, this section was partially inspired by the fictional Los Angeles suburb of Toontown in the 1988 Walt Disney release Who Framed Roger Rabbit. The homes of several principal Disney characters can be found here.

No vacation to Southern California would be complete without a visit to the Walt Disney Theme Park. Customers of Johnny Parks LAX Airport Parking are encouraged to stay tuned to this website for further information on Disney accommodations, dining and entertainment. Until then, please feel free to visit the official Walt Disney website at www.disney.go.com.
